Medi Coaching Institute

Medi Coaching Institute (MCI) started through Medi “Roots” Publishing Consultancy, an educational publishing house that traces its roots to the year 2003. Our publishing wing focuses on human capital development through training local writers to produce and publish educational material.
In 2018, we ventured into another area of educational & human resource development; Medi Coaching Institute; Offering Personal development and Leadership Coaching for different markets.
Medi Coaching Institute was conceived and birthed by Manana, the Coach; who has been a leader, teacher, counselor and mentor since 1983 when she started her leadership journey in schools, at the age of 22. She has since been crafting a path towards building a transformation entity to fulfill her passion for human refinement.
Mission Statement
To recreate and catapult people into reaching their full potential, enabling them to add value to others, transform organizations, communities and our country as effective leaders.
Our Mission
Our mission is to reduce the leadership deficit in many organizations in Botswana and generally across the globe. The world is undergoing a rapid transformation to which organizations are not responding to at the same speed, creating a vacuum in leadership. This gap presents an opportunity to provide services that can bridge the leadership shortage.
Our Vission
To be the ‘go to’ in leading human re-construction, leadership development and transformational authority.
Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as ever you can.
– John wesley

Testimonials
When I enrolled for ‘Leadership Gold’ I wanted to develop myself and add value to people around me. Six chapters in the program really touched my heart and I apply them to my life consistently despite personal or professional challenges. This course helped me do whatever I put my mind to, I learn continuously and impart my knowledge.
As a team leader at work & a mother, I learned how to give and handle criticism. As brutal as feedback may be, it’s all for good. Instead of focusing on fixing weaknesses, I focus on developing mine, my teams and my childrens strength zones. I love Coach Manana because she creates an engaging environment where you can interact, open up and learn through each other’s experiences.
I started this journey with ‘15 Invaluable Laws of Growth’ then ‘Leadership Gold’ and it has been an amazing journey. It came at the right time in my life where I was taking up an appointment as Deputy Director in the Department of Technical Education. At that point, I felt I was joining from a weak point as I didn’t have the technical knowledge base.
When I joined this journey with Coach Manana, I became more self aware. I realized that my biggest strength as a people oriented person was good leverage in my leadership. I have internationally grown this part of myself by reaching out to people, revealing their strengths and helping them operate from them, rather than focus on their weaknesses. This has been my greatest contribution.
My journey started with Leadership Gold when I signed to become a better leader. But from that course, I found that I needed to get to know myself a little bit more in order for me to be the leader I wanted to be, so I then signed up for the 15 Invaluable Laws of Growth. In that time, not only did I learn a lot more about being a better leader, but a better parent and what it means to be intentional about personal growth and reaching your goals.
